We can finally move on to the semi-finals. Three out of four competitors that made it this far are X-Women (though we could say that Wanda has strong ties with the X-Family), so this will probably be the toughest match-ups. Remember, don’t stuff ballots! Good luck to both competitors.
And Jubilee just keeps kicking ass and taking names in this tournament! I am amazed and happy to see that she’s almost unstoppable. Congratulations to Kate Bishop, too, for making it this far. As a character that’s mostly been portrayed in only one title, she’s become very popular and truly inspirational. Congrats to both and thank you everyone for voting!
And to think I was complaining about how hard some match-ups were way before we reached the quarter-finals. Well, here we are, the first match-up of this round puts two of the most popular teenagers against one another. Good luck to both of them!

In the other corner, the undisputable leader of the Young Avengers, self-made heroine, Kate Bishop!
The beginning of this third round and a big surprise. Rogue will always be a tough contender, no doubt about it. Nevertheless, Carol lost by very few votes, so it was tough for both competitors. But I really wasn’t expecting Jubilee’s win and not because I don’t appreciate this wonderful character, but because Emma had been the one with the highest number of nominations. I was pretty sure she’d be in the semi-finals. Many congratulations to Jubes and good luck to her for the rest of the competition!

In one corner we have the lovely Mary Jane Watson! Once and future wife of Peter Parker, Mary Jane may not have powers, but she’s more than capable of defending herself and fighting for her loved ones.
In the other corner, one of the most popular and stylish X-Men: Jubilee! Jubes used to be a mutant with the power to control pyrotechnics. Since M-Day she’s been depowered, but can still kick ass without anybody’s help.
The winners of the previous two matches! As expected, Emma won practically by a landslide. Jubilee also won comfortably, but there was a surge of votes for Armor a couple of hours before I closed the polls, which I think speaks about the fact that despite being a rather newish character that has been featured mostly on Astonishing X-Men, Hisako has quite a fanbase :D
